Winter Class Schedule
2007/2008
January 5, 12, 19 & 26: 9:00-11:00am
Socks on 4 double points - Laura Todd $40.00
intermediate - Socks are so hot right now and this is your chance to get in on the fun. This is your basic sockc lass using double pointed needles. Using double pointed needles is a great skill to have for hats, sleeves and many other things.
January 16: 5:30-7:30pm
Spindle Spinning - Laura Watts $30.00
beginning - this class fee includes the fiber but not the spindle. Spindle spinning is portable and a great way to make your own natural fiber Yarns. You can try your hand at spinning without the huge expense of a wheel.
February 13: 5:00-7:30pm
Wet Felting a Silk Scarf - Jerri Hansen $50.00
beginning - includes all of the materials to make a one of a kind silk scarf, you can see a sample at the shop. No knitting, crochet or needle felting involved although there may be a short demonstration of embellishments you can put on your silk scarf with the needle felting technique.
March 1 & 22: 9:00-11:00am
Modern Quilt wrap By Mags Kandis $35.00
advanced beginner/intermediate -taught by: Laura Todd learn modular knitting and make this lovely wrap in Kidsilk Haze. Laura will guide you through the modular knitting technique and get you going on this lovely wrap, then you will meet again to discuss and get help on any issues you might be having.
March 5, 19 & 26: 5:00-7:00pm
Crochet Socks - Jerri Hansen $40.00
Intermediate- Here is a really great class for crocheters. Jerri will walk you through all of the steps to complete a pair of socks.

We request that all classes are paid for at the time of sign-up. We accept all major credit cards and for your convenience you can sign up and pay online, or call us and sign up over the phone. Materials are generally not provided. You will receive a materials list by either coming in, email or regular mail (if you request). To make the most of class time we ask that all of your materials are purchased before class begins.
Class Level Guide
Beginner - This is for those people who have never knit before, this is your opportunity to learn how.
Advanced Beginner - You know how to knit, purl, K2tog and SSK. You feel comfortable with knitting, can fix minor problems such as a dropped stitch and have done a few simple projects.
Intermediate - Knows how to read a pattern, is proficient and at ease with kntting.
Experienced - Comfortable with many advanced techniques.
